Sherree Patrice: New Music – Seeking Approval Only from God!

There are singers who you may not hear from often enough – but wish that their new music flowed from in an abundance. Sherree Patrice is one such gifted songstress. Honor and excitement hit me all at once when I received an invite to preview her long awaited follow up single, The Approval of Men.

Someone slapped a label on June as a month to celebrate Black Music, and this year I ran with it – though I’ve cherished music on a daily basis!

Can Music Give Me: Reciprocal Love Again?

I can’t seem to get the dialogue out of my head that PJ Morton dropped during his intimate New York listening party earlier this week. There was so much knowledge shared about the industry/indie artists in such a crowded space to shine one above the other/radio today/creating music that you love, not a generic project that doesn’t feel good to your soul that others try to push you to create. I popped one cassette, replaced it with another and ultimately brought a cd for my discman (dating myself, for sure – smile!). Reading that article made me think of other songs that put me in a great space & gave me the

One of my favorite songs is less than 2 minutes in length. The power that it holds is simply incredible. The melody is captivating and automatically draws you in. ‘White Line in the Sky‘ by the immensely talented, Frank McComb is the song that jumped into my spirit, seemingly out of the blue today. Sharing this beautiful treasure with the world ~ be blessed, as it has blessed me… Be sure to check the discography
